Charles-Antoine Hennegrave was born and raised in France. He arrived in the UK five years ago and is presently working full time as a freelance Editor and VFX supervisor.

From an IT background, he joined the film industry 5 years ago pushed and helped by a very talented French director and Director of Photography Mr. Jean-Claude Desruelles and has since been working on music videos, short films and commercials.


His domains of expertise are:

- Motion graphics

- Tracking and rotoscoping using Mocha AE (Imagineer Systems) and Camera Tracker for AE (The Foundry) or the built-in AE Rotobrush

- Keying

- Matte painting

- Grading using Magic Bullet Looks and/or SA Color Finesse

- Element 3D animator

 

Amongst them , "Heartbreak Lane" and "Summer Song" (VFX & Grading. Artist: Nyika produced by TooHip Records and directed by Chris McGee), "The 13th Mirror" (VFX Supervisor. Short film written & directed by Mono Ghose, produced by Arno Hazebroek for Mavericks Storm Entertainment).

He recently edited and graded two advertisements for Cuticura, one for Timberland and worked as editor and colourist on an advertisment campaign for Pot Noodle

He is A.C.E. (Adobe Certified Expert) qualified.

- Grading and some VFX for Olivia Twist (feature film), a modern adaptation of the novel "Oliver Twist" by Charles Dickens, produced & directed by young British producer Arno Hazebroek


To come:

- Edit and grading of "Once upon a time in the Wild" (in production) a feature film produced by Rockwood Pictures.
